About Us
Ariose is an award-winning, nationally recognized choir of treble singers. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, and led by artistic director Jolaine Kerley, the group enjoys the challenge of exploring and performing music of various styles and from different periods with the goal of exposing audiences to a vast array of choral music.
Ariose Celebrates 30 Years
As Ariose celebrates its 30th anniversary in the 2024-2025 season, we reflect on a journey of artistic growth and deep community connections. Over the past three decades, Ariose has evolved into one of Edmonton’s premier treble choirs, dedicated to performing diverse, challenging repertoires, especially those of Canadian composers. Beyond our musical achievements, we've witnessed our members grow personally—celebrating engagements, marriages, and the birth of new generations. These shared milestones have fostered a strong, enduring bond, making Ariose not just a choir, but a family.
